A man is convinced that George Lucas photobomed a photo of his Disney family trip almost 20 years ago, and the internet believes he’s right. Posting on Twitter/X, Mark Chase shared a photo of a family vacation to Disney World from 2005. This was shot on a traditional camera, and it wasn’t until the family got their photos developed that they discovered a very famous-looking person in the background.

“We always used to joke that George Lucas was in the background of this photo,” Chase said. “We never actually thought it was him.”

But now, looking at the photos with fresh eyes, Chase and his family are convinced it actually was the creator of Star Wars and not a doppelganger. Then, the Chase family decided to do some digging, he told Newsweek. The family discovered that Lucas was, in fact, at Disney World on the day they were there on February 27, 2005. They found photos of Lucas from that day, and his attire–shoes, pants, belt and watch–all seem to match up.
